Thousands of devotees took part of the annual procession transferring the venerated statue of Jesus Christ from a park to a church in the Philippine capital.

The village is right in the middle of a government project, which threatens farmers and their rice fields that may soon turn into roads or buildings. More or less 300 families might be forced to leave their homes because of the planned New Clark City, envisioned to be the first “smart, green and resilient metropolis in the country.”
